It’s all over for SOUL------------- for 2009
The SOUL longboard club ran its last comp for the 2009 season on the 14-11-2009. Boings was once again the break of choice and was looking good for the first hour or so with light off shore winds and a small but clean wave. The wind change came early at about 9.30 and combined with the dropping tide it was a battle from then on to try and get the best out of the conditions.
Points and positions were being hard fought for as some of the divisions still had room for movement in the top placing’s.
The presentations for this comp took place at the Ocean Grove Cricket club rooms which was also the venue for the Sewell family fund raising night a bit later on. All the takings from the days event were donated to this cause which came to about $1060 and a total of over $10,000 was raised from the whole night.
All the final results will be revealed at the presentation night on December the 5th at the Ocean Grove Golf Club.
